Planning

My partners are Jinny and Lynn. We decided to work off of an early-stage lock that Jinny made out of three potentiometers. Here is a video of the original work that she made:

As a group we thought it would be interested to work off of this foundation. There was the obvious project that came up, which was to take Jinny's work so far and complete it: add green/red lights and sounds to indicate whether the correct combination was entered. Jinny and her partner in the above video tried to map values to the potentiometers but weren't successful, so one other task of our project would be to first map successfully "codes" onto the potentiometers.

However, as we were brainstorming, we had an idea of how to take this a step further. We thought that it would be fun if the outputting sounds were based on settings on the potentiometer, wherein each potentiometer's levels produce different tones. The goal for the user would be to get a single tone to come out of each of the potentiometer's values; otherwise, the three tones will be different.

We decided to start on the easier one first and then build off of it toward the more ambitious one.

Here is the user flow that we expect for the first one and the second one:

However, our goal is to attempt a more ambitious project once we are able to successfully make Plan B. Here is Plan A, the one we hope we can make:
